This Council:
1. Recognises the efforts of community campaigners and Councillors who have drawn attention to the continued presence of copious amounts of litter along the sides of the A27 within the boundaries of the city;
2. Notes the difficulties that the Council has experienced in paying for and planning short-term road-closures to facilitate clear-ups; and
3. Calls for an Officer Report to be sent to Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee setting out proposals for a long-term strategy to fund and execute clean-up operations.
